VKS has lost many many aircrafts to friendly fire in the last four years, it's hardly unprecedented.News I've read suggested it was friendly fire. But multiple aircraft? How on earth can this happen?
Doubt it this time. So far we have known about 3 downed USAF incidents within short time. No way its friendly fire. Something is going on with Iran.VKS has lost many many aircrafts to friendly fire in the last four years, it's hardly unprecedented.
Iran has highly mobile S300VM, TOR,BUK and similar homegrwon stuff.Do we know for sure what type of ammunition the USA and Israel use? I mean the opening salvo consisted of tomahawk cruise missiles; and B2 bombers dropped bunker busters. No stand off ammunition anymore? Just guided bombs? If the coalition has achieved the complete air superiority and use cheaper guided bombs, that's a bad news for Iran and Iran's sympathizers.
Well clearly no longer as USAF and IAF aircraft seems to be flying with impunity over Iran.Iran has highly mobile S300VM, TOR,BUK and similar homegrwon stuff.
all of them capable to hit up to 20 km altitude, means it is impossible to fly over Iran without risking a double digit chance for a shoot from a SAM.
