For one thing, I hope China drops Kawaii aesthetics. It‘s so weird seeing grown ass women acting like toddlers. HK, Korean cinema were at their peaks when Kawaii bs was not around and grown women acted like grown women. Now, outside of Southeast Asia (who are not relevant), popularity of East Asian cinema has been decimated. Sad.

If Chinese people don't see a problem with it, that's enough!
Why try to please foreigners and change your own preferences?
Don't always prioritize your own ideas; the world doesn't revolve around you!
Chinese people generally dislike dressing provocatively in broad daylight, being covered in tattoos, or having all sorts of strange accessories. Could we ask the West to give up these odd tastes?

As I have discussed in my previous post, This is all by design created by the Trump Team, The GOP, the Military and to a certain extent the Elites. Kill a lot of birds with a single stone to change the news cycle and sweep other jarring headlines under the carpet (Economy, Epstein Files et al). Creating Chaos such as sending ICE to Minnesota gives them the blanket coverage they crave and it is working.
It also makes way for Trump to declare martial law and rule indefinitely. A lot like Zelenskyy in Ukraine. My bet is there will be no midterms, unless the people revolt back.

So in the coming years the US will experience either of these 3 options:

1) Cultural revolution

2) French style revolution

3) Civil War

4) or a full on fascist style dystopia type Statehood.

My pick is number 4, evident by their huge bet on AI, Drone Technology and ICE roles in their New World Order.

If you are currently living in the US, better start thinking of jumping ship and move or you will be stuck there forever. Things aren't going to improve but it will become much worse.

Peaceful protest is not going to do squat, History has taught us repeatedly bloodshed has always been the game changer from changing laws, decree,edict, wealth and forging Nations. It is built into the Human DNA.

This is America, the exceptional nation, the shinning city on the hill, and the patron saint of insatiable greed, they don’t need to choose, they can have it all! Hell, they are almost certain to also unlock the bonus secret level of 5) Total comprehensive military defeat by a superior foreign power.

I think the main question is what order America ends up running the table.

Outside of weirdos, nobody nowadays in the west consumes East Asian pop culture because of this. Bluntly said it’s too gay. When we talk about East Asian movies, we talk about hardcore movies from 90s and early 2000s from HK and SK.

China needs to perpetuate soft calming love ballad music in society. Otherwise the boiling bloodlust inherent to Asian men would be activated and we'd unfortunately genocide the rest of the world. That would not be nice. Think of it this way. We are Sun Wukong and Jay Chou is the Tang Sanzang's spell to keep us from tapping into the demon inside and blowing up the world.

Don't need to worry about East Asian pop culture. They're doing fine. Blackpink topped the billboard in chart in 2025 for one of their singles and I don't even like Kpop.

Worry more about India or something. Your effort is more needed there.
