Beggars can’t be choosers. If Canada had any alternatives better than China, China wouldn’t even be brought up. The reason why they would be worried Canada selling only low valued products is because that’s their own fault when they went along with the US in banning high tech to China. They said it themselves where they have to protect certain industries from China. And what does that include? Anything high tech. Yeah Canada is vulnerable because the only thing they want and are willing to sell to China are things China can get from somewhere else outside Canada. So what are they expecting? They want China to be their slave. Surprise… Surprise. They want China to buy from them to make a defined amount of money and guarantees regardless of their actions against China. Trade is just the laundering of slavery. They talk about human rights abuses in China… Well they want China to “volunteer” to be their slave so that way it’s not a human rights abuses on their part because the Chinese willingly agreed to be their slave and are not forced into it. That’s the difference.

Yeah it is a new era. No more hypocrites preaching right and wrong to everyone else.

This here is the powerful thing about China's approach to diplomacy.
Schemes like kidnapping Maduro to get Venezuela to do what you want is what's known as "阴谋" or hidden schemes. Their success critically depends on secrecy. What China is doing: Community of common destiny for mankind, is the opposite, it's a "阳谋" or open scheme. It doesn't depend on secrecy and its objects are open for everyone to see. Open scheme is a much higher level play than hidden scheme and cannot be foiled by among other things, exposing its existence.

It's what I keep telling folks who are scared that the US will forcefully impose pro-US governments on countries. At the end of the day when the dust settles all that rah-rah crap won't matter, folks want to trade and the US won't give them what China is giving them. The US will overextend and bankrupt themselves trying to play empire games in the 21st century.

The US’s problem on why they can’t compete with China is everything the US does costs more. Herein is the flaw in the “checks and balances” of modern America; the ability to set interest rates effectively confers the U.S. Fed ie unelected bankers as kingmakers in a capitalist democracy, and this model has been exported to other states as it confers power to the mercantilist elites of the west who hold voting power within these organisations. In Australia, this model is mirrored in the Reserve Bank being seperate from the federal government.

What Trump appears to be doing is to go for Caesarism where the ability to set interest rates would be up to the President, or effectively emperor trump.

I don't think so, India and china will never get along as those dispute territories are impossible to compromise when climate change got worsen. Water is not something that can achieve win win.

2025 and even more so 2026 will be the year of india's irrelevance-the zeitgeist and tempo of geopolitical events spawned by the historical catalyst of Trump has left the little 2 sided games played india as done and also india's self-destructive izzat can never have China above india ,so they invent another fantasy based reality.The next 3 years with Trump and major geopolitical events will see bit players crushed or tossed to the side when the real shifts/conficts arise.
