I'm just gonna humour the idea that this might be intentional, is there any reason to do it this way or is it just poor workmanship? The Qi Jiguang and Yimeng Shan that I went to look absolutely pristine, it's crazy, looked factory fresh
It's normal. Chinese ships look like that many years ago.
Many years ago, China wasn't talking down to the US the way India talks down to China these days.

1) USAF (5004 Units) TVR score is 242.9
2) USN (2504 Units) TVR score is 142.4
3) Russian AF (3,677 Units) TVR score is 114.2
4) US Army (4,333 Units) TVR score is 112.6
5) US Marine (1,211 Units) TVR score is 85.3
6) Indian Airforce (1,716 Units) TVR score is 69.4
7) PLAAF (3,733 Units) TVR score is 63.8

I wonder how true this is. Seems to far-fetched
Not really, this seems to be as big of a variety as what the PLA has, and unlike planes you can just source from a bunch of different countries with no issues because most of them are specialist weapons who are used by people who'd know how to maintain them
AI says it is accurate but missing about a dozen additional guns. Some of the above are being retired. No idea if the AI is accurate.
