The first prototype of the Yak-130M aircraft is ready for ground testing ✅

The United Aircraft Corporation of the Rostec State Corporation is developing the Yak-130M advanced trainer and light combat aircraft as part of experimental design work. The first prototype has been built at the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. The aircraft is sent for ground and flight tests. Meanwhile, assembly of two more units is underway.

The Yak-130M was built by specialists from the Yakovlev company. During ground tests, new and upgraded systems will be tested on the aircraft to confirm the declared characteristics. Most of the updated equipment was developed by a cooperation of Rostec enterprises. Then the aircraft will be prepared for its first flight.

“The modernization will allow the Yak-130M to be armed with air-to-air missiles and precision air-to-surface weapons with satellite and laser guidance systems. The new aircraft will not only retain all the capabilities for training combat pilots but will also gain the qualities of a combat aircraft,” Rostec noted.

The Yak-130M is based on the Yak-130, whose characteristics allow training pilots of fourth- and fifth-generation fighters. The main goal of the ongoing modernization is to expand the combat capabilities of the aircraft.

The integration of new onboard systems will enable the Yak-130M to be used for training and combat missions around the clock and in difficult weather conditions. For example, the aircraft has been equipped with the BRLS-130R onboard radar station, the SOLT-130K optical-laser thermal television system, the President-S130 onboard defense complex, and the KSS-130 communication system.

Russia's first military robot exercise. A video from the recent joint Russian-Belarusian military exercise "Zapad-2025," featuring the Russian-made Kurier robotic system. The video also shows other robot models. This is Russia's first large-scale military robot exercise. Kurier tracked robots are currently in active use by the Russian army; technical information about them is available in the link to the video in the comments. The exercises utilize Kurier tracked drones equipped with 12.7mm machine guns, AGS-30 grenade launchers, and a version with an anti-tank minelayer.

The Irkutsk Aviation Plant has completed the first prototype of the Russian-made upgraded Yak-130M combat trainer. The Yak-130M is designed for ground and flight testing, and two more aircraft are currently being assembled. It was previously reported that the upgraded Yak-130M will receive additional armament, including air-to-air missiles and high-precision air-to-ground weapons with satellite and laser guidance systems. The primary goal of the ongoing upgrade is to expand the aircraft's combat capabilities and its export potential.

The Russian and Indian armies have launched the Indra-2025 military exercise. The main phase of the exercise is currently underway at the Mahajan training ground in India. According to the scenario, simulated terrorists seized a populated area and took local residents hostage. Russian and Indian military personnel, after conducting reconnaissance of the area, discovered sabotage and reconnaissance groups of the simulated enemy. The units advanced in military vehicles to block the simulated enemy's retreat area. While on the move, the soldiers practiced countering the sabotage and reconnaissance groups, providing first aid and evacuation to the injured. Drones and electronic warfare systems were used in the exercise to counter drones.

A combat sequence involving two Russian T-72B3M tanks in Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region. The video was filmed in the Krasnoarmiisk sector. In the video, two T-72B3M tanks fire at Ukrainian army strongholds located in a forest belt. It's worth noting that tank battles no longer exist in Ukraine. Modernized T-72B3M tanks began to be produced in 2022.

if the leak is legit and full, Looks like there is no mention of the armata maybe they start producing it after reducing the produciton of the other tanks and the end of the war ,the BMPT is to be procured in low numbers ,and the new T-90M2 will have redisgned turret, reverse trans fix a modernized crew chamber(also for new T-800)

They are basing their tank production estimates on a purchase order of some T-72/T-90 tank component that they supposedly intercepted. I doubt that is used in T-14 Armata.

Testing of the Marta interceptor drone has begun in Russia, Nikolai Rogatkin announced. The drone is being tested in the Black Sea. The interceptor drone will presumably be primarily used to counter FPV drones launched from maritime unmanned aerial vehicles. The drone is being developed by the Bars-Sarmat robotic systems center. The drone is already ready, and an auto-targeting system is currently being developed, as it is difficult to target such drones at high speeds. Technical specifications are unknown, but the manufacturer reports that the interceptor drone can reach speeds of up to 300 km/h.

Armata is still in LRIP for the original contract. A new one needs to be designed though that will depend on what changes need to be made to the design, I'd guess.
