The Ignis laser system, based on the Kuryer NRTK, is used during military exercises. In this photo, the Ignis is burning out TM-62 anti-tank mines on a riverbank. The mines are destroyed without detonating, simply disintegrating after being burned by the laser.

Footage of a Ukrainian convoy of armored vehicles destroyed by Russian drones. The video was filmed in the Pokrovsk area, on a section of the road leading to Dimitrov. In Ukraine, the town is known as Myrnohrad. The video shows approximately 25 destroyed armored vehicles. It's worth noting that some of the vehicles had been destroyed earlier.

The first footage of a Russian Lancet-51 kamikaze drone attacking what is presumably a Ukrainian APKWS air defense system. The APKWS air defense system was developed in the US using unguided 70mm Hydra rockets. The missiles are guided by an optoelectronic station. This version of the air defense system is mounted on a DAF truck chassis. The air defense system is designed to engage drones at a range of approximately 5,000 meters when used on a ground-based version. As a result of the Lancet-51 drone strike, the Ukrainian APKWS air defense system launched its missiles unintentionally. The video was presumably filmed in the Sumy region of Ukraine.

A Russian special forces unit storms a Ukrainian army stronghold. The video was also filmed by a drone. In the video, the 16th Separate Special Forces Brigade of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Russian Ministry of Defense storms the positions of the 63rd Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army. The video was filmed on the approaches to Krasny Liman. Since 2014, the Ukrainian army has built a multi-layered system of strongholds and fortifications around Krasny Liman. During the assault, special forces use small arms and grenades.

The supply of components from China to Russia for the production of fiber-optic-controlled combat drones strengthens the Russian military in its war against Ukraine and creates a range of global risks for the United States.

“Behind the surge of Russian drones on the battlefield in Ukraine stand Chinese factories.”

This summer, China significantly increased its exports to Russia of fiber-optic cables and lithium-ion batteries, both essential for producing drones with fiber-optic guidance systems. Because such drones are less vulnerable to electronic warfare—they are controlled through a physical cable rather than radio signals—their growing numbers give Russia a tactical advantage on the battlefield.

An episode of a battle between Russian reconnaissance troops from the "West" group of forces. During a mission, a camouflaged Ukrainian army observation post was discovered, which led to a firefight. The video was filmed in the Kupyansk district of the Kharkiv region. As a result of the battle, according to the video, one Ukrainian serviceman from an unknown unit was killed. The video has been condensed.

Allegedly Russia is deploying Chinese civilian ASEA radar to counter drones. The model FSTH LD-02/03 looks small enough to be carried by infantry and has a detection range of 15km.

I thought it is supposed to be really challenging to detect small drones due to small RCS, low speed, ground clutter...etc so this news is a bit surprising to me. If it does work then FPV drones will become much less of a threat than I previously thought.

Ukrainian military personnel filmed a Russian FPV drone attacking a Mitsubishi pickup truck used by the Ukrainian army for military purposes. The location of the footage was not disclosed. It's worth noting that the pickup truck is equipped with electronic warfare systems. Despite Ukrainian soldiers' attempts to shoot down the FPV drone, the drone ultimately destroyed the truck.
