This guy gave out good facts but that's only a part of how you win arguments against Westerners. You have to embarrass them. You have make them look dumb. You have to make them feel like a loser. You have to make them a hypocrite of what they accuse to convey that whatever punishment they have in mind for you if China doesn't comply... they deserve as well. That's how you make them think twice before they bother. This Ronnie Chan didn't change their minds. They're going to ignore it and continue on believing the same things... arguing the same things the next time.
Chinese don't want to cross those lines because it's important to convince the other side to see how they see it. The problem with that is Chinese are telling them they're important enough to need to be convinced. I see a lot of Chinese who think if racists just got to know the Chinese, then they'll like them. That only makes them feel important because they don't bother to do that with you because they don't think you're worth anything. That's what's wrong with in general how minorities deal with whites who are in power. Their goal is trying to convince racists that everyone can live in peace together. That says you need them but they don't need you. Why do you think white racists think they're superior? Look at how everyone finds it important to live with white people. And their power comes from denying it to you. They're not going to give you what you want when they know they can get everything they want from you making you think it's possible.
What the West is worried about seeing China's rise? They're afraid China is going to leave them behind because of China's drive to be independent from them. The Chinese don't need them and that might make others see that too. That's what they were trying to do against China. Why do you think they were taunting about cancelling and decoupling with China? They wanted Chinese to be in panic that they were going to be left behind and the West and rest of the world would go on without China. That's how I know that works with them. You know how ignorant people get to know what others are thinking? They look at themselves to understand how other people will react. That's the irony of Westerners and their xenophobia. They want to divide people against those who are different from them but yet the only way they know how others think are by looking at themselves. All their fears of what others will do is because that's what they would do.
You want to humble the West? Treat them as not important as much as they do to you. Look at how the West was alarmed at seeing Xi, Putin, Kim Jong Un and others together at China's Victory Day parade. They coped with derision of the gathering but they more importantly feared a group they had no say, no power, no influence because they weren't involved. Look at how Biden and then Trump panicked just from China ghosting them. Is that a crime? It is for a people who think of themselves as so important to everyone.
