How come F-35's radome not have the conductive discharge strips. I believe every single Chinese radome(J-20/35) still has it even the drones, is it due to technical challenges or some other reasons. I thought Chinese material science should be one of the best.

It might as the strips are conductive, which is why I guess the F-35 does not have them.
ChatGPT said f35 have them but internally they could have done it internally but didn't effect the stealth negatively so the put it externally and even for the J20A it's external so the chances of it affecting stealth negatively are non it's a intentional design choice not cause of technical problems

Wouldn't trust GPT, also if it doesn't matter in the slightest then why go through the trouble of making it internal which I assume might come with all sorts of RF compatibility issues.
