The sky looks so bad. Looks like China's Weather manipulation scheme failed this time.

Weather manipulation doesn't get rid of smog. Only shutting down industry in basically all of Hebei and banning ICE vehicles in Beijing for at least 2 weeks in advance would be able to remediate that.

YJ-15, YJ-17, YJ-19 and YJ-20 were all introduced as "hypersonic weapons". Can we take that as official confirmation that the YJ-15 is hypersonic, or they just couldn't be bothered to make a distinction between YJ-15 and the other hypersonic AShMs?

That IMO also signals the end of J-10 production (soon). It had a good run o/. Do not be saddened, Its okay, PAF will keep Rafale-Killers alive in our mind space and the PAF fanbois will keep it alive on the social media.

J-10 production for the PLAAF has already ceased. It's only produced for export as the J-10CE now, and I see no reason for China to shutter the line anytime soon, given how many countries could be interested in acquiring a good 4+ generation fighter.

I think it is, or at least very close.

Well I am satisfied. For me the highlight was 99B and HHQ-9C. China finally updated two of the foundational pieces of equipment. Knowing our DDGs carry an even more upgraded variant of the HHQ-9 makes me feel pretty good.

As someone already said, one big focus seems to be on drone / anti-drone warfare. I wish there were more traditional tanks / IFVs on show, e.g. like 04B, Type 191 family and Type 05 successor. Also, anything ends up not being shown in the actual parade?
