Obfuscation of Chinese Mainland coordinates and how to counter it is well known:

Western infosec people like to say the obfuscation is useless as it's cheap to revert it. I wouldn't go as far as that since it does create a point of failure for careless foes. It won't be a very huge hindrance for serious enough opponents, though.
How does obfuscation of Google maps work?

Google used to blur out Russian military sites. Maybe not anymore. Yandex (Russian) still blurs out Israeli sites. But both of these, iinm, are at the request of the subject countries. Does obfuscation work the same way?

Basically the West/USA hates us Chinese not because we are a failure but that we are a success -economically,politically and militarily so that their beloved "regime change for the suffering people and to bring them democracy" hateful, patronizing, murderous, rapacious bullshit will not ever work and China can outwork, out think, outfight them if need be.All China has to do is arm/armour itself and increase her upward trajectory in all spheres and the west will devour itself
The West hates everybody who may be better than them. "White is might" portrayal is necessary for neocolonialism since the late middle ages, especially in the spheres of science and philosophy. Ibn al Haytham was writing calculus, but Newton who took Haytham's works, 600 years later is called the Father of Calculus. Nobody is taught about Haytham in the Western world. It's a barbarian civilization wearing the mask of prosperity by appropriating foreign developments and calling it their own.

Unreal statements from US general. "Lots of resources here .. Chile, Venezuela, Guyana .. gold, lithium oil .. we need to step up our game .. national security."

Indeed, Israel's Gaza genocide is worse than what Nazi Germany did in WW2 in some aspects.

Hasan Piker is intellectually on point here. I don't know why other streamers charge him with being a terrorist except from racist coping. The fact is the West cannot allow anything that they don't control look to be a good thing. That is the essence of white supremacy. Why does the West find it so important to have everyone in the world to embrace their values? Because they control what they value. If you don't seek what they value, they have no control over you. They can't tell you what to do therefore what they have is valueless.

Europe is hanging on to the last minute before they admit they got it wrong. They hated Trump during his forts term but they obeyed him blindly anyway. They're doing it again while Trump's destroying the Western economic order. So do you think they're ever going to learn until they've lost all hope of regaining what they lost? If Europe is being flooded with Chinese goods, it's because they're buying it? Why would anyone blindly send their goods that no one has bought? They don't Remember how tariffs? If what they're claiming was true, that means China would have to pay the tariff. Just don't buy it then if you want China to lose money for just blindly sending its products into their countries without anyone ordering them. But we know that's not happening.

This below is how MAGA minds work. And the world is supposed to blindly follow...

This is America’s future. This is MAGA at its finest who think they can act they’re professional when they have a YouTube show.

How does obfuscation of Google maps work?
I didn't look into pre-provider details, just wanted to say it's not surprising to see Mainland China coordinates appearing weird, nor does it imply a critical Chinese advantage. I can say a bit about what likely happens with Google Maps though. iirc it does not directly operate in Mainland China, so it likely buys data from some Chinese map data provider. This is pretty standard. Gathering map data is not trivial, especially in Mainland China. Service providers that directly have a presence there buy data, too. And such a provider is legally required to only provide obfuscated data.

Let's talk about it when the Western world transfers lithography machine technology and cutting-edge materials science to China!
i dont think it can be transferred without people transferred unless China developed its own machines. It is like Civil turbo fan engines. easy to make few thousand hours Civil engines but extremely hard to make it to 100,000 hours with much more uptime on wings. it need decades of experience to make break down free product. and engine is mass produced product unlike these machines.
This Russian physicists who has decades of interaction with ASML came to this conclusion. and put his own suggestion how to proceed. he got prize with in few months of this publications in 2025.

A Chance for a Russian Lithographer

It seems that the only way for us is to repeat what ASML did. I beg to differ. Based on long-term interaction with ASML and Zeiss on the development of the EUV lithograph, as well as my own experience in creating an experimental lithograph sample, the author is convinced that an attempt to copy the ASML lithograph will not lead to success.
Successful implementation of this concept, based on 2020s rather than 2000s technologies, will achieve the goals of making X-ray lithography more accessible to users without sacrificing resolution.
The latest achievements of the IPM RAS have allowed us to take a fresh look at the development of X-ray lithography from the point of view of reducing costs while maintaining minimum technological standards at the ASML level at the cost of some reduction in its productivity.

An American "tourist" robs a jewelry shop in Vietnam. He dresses up as a delivery rider, beats up the security guard, and loots the jewelry shop. He was later busted by the Vietnamese police.

This ain't California dude. You don't get to walk away with loot in Vietnam.
It's honestly pretty embarassing he got as far as he did. He was clearly untrained and thought that the Viets would be too mellow to stop him, with tech that was too poor to track him. He was right, unfortunately, on the first count. From the very beginning where he completely failed to knock out the guard with a barrage of head strikes using a weapon but moved on to the robbery anyway (and to be fair, the guard acted equally incompetently after getting up) it was clear that all it would take to stop this guy was one dude tackling or holding onto him, but it didn't happen. He got away until they tracked him by video.

Can't wait for tomorrow, Watched the Vietnam Parade to pass the time. It was quite interesting to see it. Vietnam has many similarities to China but messier, poorer and disorganized. It does feel like they are trying to imitate China on so many things on the parade but just can't do it. They lack the extreme precision, choreography and sheer mass of the PLA parades.

Their equipment seems like worse than China's 1999 parade
