Ahh finally, I have faith in the PLA's competence again.

Looking at the rehearal photos, It seems like they distcontinued the monocular digital night vision. Its no longer seen in the parade.

sounds like a right call , cause I really don't think the zipper is worth the cost on durability.
The main complaint I had against the heavy boots I was issued with was the weight , but I never did thought that tying laces was annoying or too time consuming

I don't think there's anything wrong with the idea of monocular digital NV. It achieved its goal within the cost, the problem was that the technology at the time couldn't deliver much performance.

Perhaps with an upgraded chip, or perhaps with binoculars, digital night vision will return.

More "accurate" would be for doggie to "take a dump" or raise one of the rear legs to mimic pissing...

But then again, "we can't waste a second during advance" is enough to shut down such proposal.
