A four-sentence police statement said a 35-year-old male driver hit pedestrians due to “improper operation” of the car. It didn’t mention the school or that the victims included children. Photos of the aftermath, which showed a half-dozen people lying in the street, were scrubbed from

Anti-China propaganda is so insidious, they are now pushing the fact that China removes videos and pictures of victims of accidents as censorship, when in reality it's privacy laws.

The US-EU trade deal is a total EU capitulation.

europe subreddit is in total meltdown.
Freaking Brexit Britain got a better deal than the whole EU supposed "supapowa" lmao

Reform in UK, and other anti-EU movements are popping champagne overnight. All these arguments about staying in strong EU due to having better and stronger trade leverage, were smashed under daddy's boot. Expect exit EU movements to accelerate.

Where is Macaroni and that "independent Europe" German idiot now..

Anyone who thought Anglo countries are vassals of US should know they are a willing co-federation of countries who will always act together on foreign policy. They are a co-operatative empire. European are willing allies of US too, not vassals. They want to ally with US to fight China, not forced to it.
Stupid beyond belief, the UK is literally a second world power at best given the current leadership having no concept in regards to the term of weapons procurement and having a population that actually wants to right. Also with the USA literally degrading itself day by day and with their actions against Russia progressively angering them even more, who’s to say that once Russia finally gets Ukraine sorted sooner or later that the Russians might start blasting the UK to take some much needed catharsis against them given the UKs piss poor air defences is literally just ripe for a strike upon its pompous leadership that has gotten too complacent for far too long and has been such a bad actor that is simply so damn punch able right now

I hope the Brits do get involved. The Century of Humiliation began when the Royal Navy showed up off the coasts of Guangdong. What a more fitting way to mark China's rejuvenation than the complete and one-sided annihilation of the Royal Navy.

Then it won’t be a fight but a well deserved sinking of their so called pride and I hope those stupid Brit’s get a good taste of the whole phrase FAFO because this has been centuries overdue

In my view, the UK’s latest announcement is designed to both reinforce and undermine U.S. policy on China and Taiwan—a stance that has appeared increasingly shaky, particularly under the current administration and the oversight of none other than Elbridge Colby. Not long ago, news reports suggested that Colby even sarcastically advised his British counterparts against deploying the UK’s flagship aircraft carrier through the Taiwan Strait, arguing that such a move would needlessly provoke China while the UK’s military capabilities remain far too limited to make a meaningful contribution in the event of armed conflict in the region.

This move may also be an attempt to rally other regional allies who remain undecided on whether to involve themselves in a conflict that is, at its core, an unresolved civil war. For these nations, the downsides of such involvement—given their proximity to China as both a powerful neighbor and the world’s largest trading partner—far outweigh any potential benefits.

It’s not entirely implausible that the UK government, under Labour, is leveraging this latest provocation to justify a significant increase in defense spending—an unprecedented move reminiscent of Cold War-era strategies aimed at countering the USSR.

Whatever the rationale behind this diplomatically provocative stance, China must demonstrate that it will decisively curbstomped any nation showing even the slightest inclination to intervene in the Taiwan issue. Otherwise, wavering countries may interpret a muted Chinese response as an invitation for further escalation—a direction that Beijing has long sought to avoid. Key players like India, Japan, South Korea, and Australia must be closely monitored and, if necessary, whipped them to show there's literally hell to pay for undermining it's sovereignty.

Euro pathetism of the highest order, expect nothing and somehow still be surprised by the spinelessness. Please don't call the European leaders 'vassals', what a grave insult to medieval vassals. Even the most subservient of Tsarist Boyars need terror to be kept in line, EU would hold half of the cards and somehow fold easier than a wet toilet paper.

You know the old adage about either be loved or be feared but never hated? Too bad as it turns you can be a hated buffoon that no one fears and somehow still swindle the EU out of everything. These collection of countries are not real, rational actors with self interest.

Dutch PM and Belgian PM, quickly accepted the outcome of the negotiations and commend Ursula and her team for, and I quote,

"their hard work and dedication over recent months, focused on preserving transatlantic ties and ensuring trade remains as stable as possible under challenging circumstances."

Quick, someone give her a medal of honour!
