Cambodia seriously needs to update their armor.
With an $1.3 billion budget. There isn’t much cash sitting around to buy more modern/updated equipment in a reasonable time frame.
Why did the drone catch fire at the end? Anti-drone weapons in use?
Maybe they just don’t care because it isn’t as if Hun Sen will get arrested for corruption.

Nothing as advanced or exciting. Massive user error as the drone operator left it hovering far too close to the ground, above an open flame that it created itself with its dropped munition.
It could also have been a Lith-Ion battery fire caused by shrapnel damage, again from having the drone fly so low when dropping the mortar round.
This war.. is being fought over a Hindu temple? One that was awarded to Cambodia by ICJ after the French withdrawal from Indochina, but atop a mountain that can only be accessed by Thailand.
