Other than that, these charts are flights of fantasy as expected, but what gets me is that the 2040 chart would still suck against the PLAAF's current force structure. It's incredible that India fanatics can boast about taking on China and Pakistan simultaneously when their imagination can't come up with a force that has the slightest chance of competing.

The fact that chinas current J-20 inventory alone is a huge portion of this hypothetical future fleet of mostly 4-4.5gen is insane. India’s procurement needs serious revamping.

I don’t understand why they are so relentlessly obsessed with fighting China. The Chinese don’t even think about India at all. Last time I checked China never expressed any intent to roll into Delhi and there’s a giant mountain between the two counties. They should focus on being able to take on Pakistan and maintain their sphere of influence on their side of the Himalayas and Indian Ocean (after ensuring their people have basic needs).

Fixed it for you. Jai Hind!!

Don't worry, these numbers change quarterly. IAF is not very consistent in what exactly it wants and who it wants it from, and doubly so just after such a thorough beating from the PAF. IAF leadership is undoubtedly a bit concerned about the current plans, given that they probably assume that the current IAF can handle the PAF (it can't), so they will certainly change them.

The question is whether the IAF has enough self-reflection for this. Normally, I'd say it does because it was smart enough to realise that their air force had to be first grounded immediately following May 7. And afterwards, all IAF fighters were to stay far away from the Pakistan border. This suggests that the IAF knows that it's severely outmatched by the PAF and will remain so until they acquire a lot more BVR capability. That said, it's the politicians who call the shots, and they don't want to say a single thing that suggests that they weren't completely victorious. Realistically, it's much more important for them to defend against Congress than it is to improve India's military.

Well su57 is out, They do have 260 Su30's so that good, they will prob reach 70 rafales by 2040 too. Rest ehh who knows. GE sends 2 tejas engines per month (lets ignore delays) so for 400+ Tejas's means 16 years.. Oh hey that comes out to 2025+16=2041! Nice
idk wtf is HLTF 42.
80 AMCA truly dreams.
On that note: Tejas Chief Designer? Dr Kota says they can do 5th gen AND 6TH GEN UNMANNED AIRCRAFT if the government decides we can do full production. Time stamped
I don't get this. The Tejas is supposed to replace the MiG-21, and that's a laudable goal. However, a light fighter like the MiG-21 doesn't fit India's needs any more,
They could still it as a defense plane right, Shoot down incoming missiles and stuff but yeah even for a2g its not gonna be good compared to others they already have?
Maybe its a 'cost' concern aka cheaper to operate tejas hours vs others.
I don’t understand why they are so relentlessly obsessed with fighting China.
In the indian mythos they have only 'lost' 1 war (after 1947) once and that was with China in 1962, they want to even that score.
Plus they see Tibet as part of 'hindu sphere' and thus must 'liberate' it, And being told media propaganda, western articles, local politicians that India will be the next China for past 15-20 years means they see china as their adversary they must beat.

Footage of new ASW-SWC ship INS Arnala. Informational quality is low, but the footage is interesting.

Sixteen of these <1000t vessels are to be commissioned over the next few years.

extended range variant of the RBU rockets that are the primary armament of these vessels and also equipped on most other warship types. It's not clear whether this new ERASR rocket (points for the acronym) incorporates the passive guidance features of the Russian 90R1 rocket, but it does at least point to ongoing efforts to enhance the performance of the classic RBU system via domestic industry.

In a significant revelation pointing toward India’s future in advanced aerial combat systems, Dr. Kota Harinarayana, the chief designer of the Tejas fighter jet, has said that India is technologically ready to develop a sixth-generation unmanned fighter jet based on a flying wing design. Speaking to Republic Defence, Dr. Harinarayana noted that scale models of this futuristic platform have already been flying for the past few years.
If the government decides to go for a full-scale, unmanned sixth-generation fighter jet, we are technologically ready,” he said, emphasizing the substantial groundwork that has already been laid.
Dr. Harinarayana explained the challenges associated with flying a wing-only platform—commonly referred to as a flying wing, which lacks conventional vertical and horizontal stabilizers. “It’s not an easy thing—you have to fly a wing without any vertical tail and horizontal tail—and we have done it,” he remarked, hinting at a breakthrough in aerodynamic control and flight stability systems essential for such aircraft.
Though Dr. Harinarayana did not name the project specifically, his comments clearly point to the Ghatak Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV) program, which has been under development by India’s Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) in collaboration with the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO). Ghatak is believed to be India’s first stealthy, autonomous strike platform based on a flying wing configuration and powered by a dry variant of the Kaveri engine, the Kaveri Dry engine.

Wait... Why it sounds so familiar!?

Indian Airforce Mig-21s are set to retire on September this year.

"Indian Air Force to phase out the MiG-21 fighter jet by September this year. The squadrons operating the aircraft are currently in Nal air base in Rajasthan. The LCA Mark 1A aircraft would be replacing the MiG-21s in the IAF," a defence official said.
The retired Mig-21s are set to be replaced by the Tejas Mk 1A. With the Tejas' rate of production, we wish them all the best.

The Indian Army had also just received its first 3 Apache attack helicopters after a 15-16 month delay. The first 3 of 6 on order.
US aerospace major Boeing on Tuesday delivered three AH-64E Apache attack helicopters to the Indian Army boosting its anti-armour capabilities, with the aircraft arriving after a delay of 16 months because of supply chain bottlenecks in the aerospace industry that slowed down production, officials aware of the matter said.
These Apaches are planned to be deployed against Pakistan. Already they are gloating about using it against Pakistani armour.

The Apaches were delivered by An-124 planes of Ukraine's Antonov Airlines. Not like Russia is gonna care off course.

The Indian Air Force already operates 22 Apaches at Ladakh. Mainly aimed against China. We all knew what happened to at least one of those Apaches last year:

The Apache is a great attack helicopter, but the Indian military is another story.

I can't believe a website that publishes stuff like this can continue to be taken seriously:
The MACH 2 F-47 will be a flying “super computer,” perhaps filled with artificial intelligence and quantum computing gadgetry and software in the cockpit. The future NGAD will likely launch hypersonic missiles.
