And it would correspond with the claims that Akash has no IFF in the big old 2025.
Absolutely.

For those who want the context, here are my two comments on this with images:

From what I saw of the skirmish, the Akash shot down the Mirage. Accounts initially claiming a PAF fighter was shot down using the Akash were eventually identified as a Mirage, so I can assume the Akash shot down the IAF's own fighter. That's probably why the PAF has no claim to the Mirage.
Hmmm that's an interesting point. There has been a history of friendly fire with the Indians (see 2019 heli shoot down) and they are operating with a less homogenous mix of equipment so it's pretty plausible it happened again. However you would think Pakistan would note that if only to give a complete account.

interesting here, so looks like PAF is hardening its position of 4 Rafales down. It'd actually be interesting if people have photo updates of how many Rafales are lined up in those IAF bases.
A blast from the past, this happened in the past and back then the onus was on PAF side and they did this
Maybe its india's turn to do the same now?
I'm not sure why PAF insists on claiming 3 or 4 Rafales down but doesn't claim the Mirage 2000 that we know was downed. It's plausible there are Rafales downed that we just don't know and/or were covered up successfully by IAF but there's no way that Mirage 2000 wasn't downed. PAF not claiming it and claiming more Rafales really makes it seem they just misidentified Mirage 2000 for Rafale.
But arent they counting the mirage 2000?
From PAF 6-0 score they said it was 3x Rafales, 1 SU30, 1 Mig29, 1 Mirage 2000.
Now they have upped it to 4 Rafales, since from what I have read, the 4th one wasnt shotdown but damaged(beyond repair) and it landed on the airfield. But after inspections it was declared unrepairable, thats why the 4th claim took so long to come out from their side.
So now the score from their pov is 7-0

Maybe the claims have changed but at least from what I saw (for example see post 1968 in this thread) PAF claimed 5 (1 MiG-29, 1 Su-30, 3 Rafale) and 1 UAV. No mention was made of Mirage 2000. I'm not sure when the claims changed, is there an official PAF military statement claiming 6 or 7 now?

Yeah the one from post 1968 later got changed even pretty early on, they have counted the mirage 2000 from the mid-late may.

They havnt officially put the 'its 7-0' now but they were counting 3 rafales back then, now they are saying 4 Rafales (via Alan) so makes to +1 the 6-0 to 7-0

Article from Pakistani media that claims India is posthumously honoring 4 IAF pilots, 3 of whom flew Rafales.

After repeatedly denying any casualties, the Indian military has now indirectly acknowledged the deaths of several personnel, including Rafale fighter jet pilots, by announcing military honours for them, security sources told Geo News on Sunday.

The move, reportedly taken under internal pressure, has lifted the lid on what was previously kept under wraps: India suffered heavy losses during Operation Sindoor.

Among those to be awarded posthumously are four Indian Air Force pilots, three of whom flew Rafale jets. The list also includes five operators of the S-400 air defence system who were killed at the Adampur Airbase, security officials say.

Nine more personnel who lost their lives at the Udhampur Airbase, including members of its air defence unit, are also named for honours.

In addition, two soldiers from the Rajouri aviation base and four others from the Uri supply depot, including its officer-in-charge, are reportedly being recognised.
