From video evidence most has hit their targets and from the act we barley any videos of shoot downs and even the shoot downs are drones

1: when your in war you don’t wait to use your AD unless you are really incompetent.

2: Russia is at war with Ukraine they need every weapon and ammo they have, I doubt they have enough to spare. Same reason is why Syria fell Russia was too busy fighting Ukraine so they couldn’t help Syria out

The goal of AD is to protect your high value targets. If your AD fails in that task, its as good as useless. It doesn't matter if Israel can intercept a few missiles if its high value targets are still getting hit. There is no military difference between not having AD (Iran) and having insufficient AD (Israel). Your looking at this from an extremely amateur point of view.

Yeah trump think it will be easy win, quick 2-3 bombardment and it will be over, he can claim victory etc.

Deploying forces just to uselessly lose them isn't a sign of real competence.
Choose your battles. Basic, core PLA DNA, by the way.

Iran currently needs fighter CAP.
Russia doesn't even deploy most of its fighter force around Ukraine since after spring 22.

Israel’s current grand war strategy at this point is literally bombing Iranian official news stations and assassinating journalists — as if that’s going to trigger some magical spontaneous rEgImE cHaNGe in people's minds that is almost there. Meanwhile, they’re begging the U.S. to shield them from retaliation. And yet some people here still feel bold enough to mock Iran — even though Israel has been struggling to put down Iran’s proxies for over two years now, and Iran has to face the combined West with its to hell sanctioned GDP alone. Let that sink in.

Isreal has been able to protect their high value targets a lot more because of missiles, Iran needs to launch multiple missiles to hit high value targets but Israel can launch one and still hit Irans high value targets that’s the difference.

1: not deploying AD will just cause you to lose more high value targets, not deploying them if you have them is stupid.

2: they still need every fighter they can to fight Ukraine they don’t have alot their able to spare and give away in good will
