We saw videos of missiles hitting Haifa, people were confirming "thats haifa" in the comments too
Not a rocket guy so I can’t speak to the qualitative differences between the two but I will say that outside of the effectiveness of Iranian missiles we also have to consider the distances. Russia can launch cruise missiles right outside the Ukrainian borders. Kyiv is not that far away. Iran, in comparison, can only launch ballistic missiles from within their borders, and those missiles have to travel hundreds of miles through Iraq, Syria, and then finally Israel. Many are detected and intercepted along that route by Israeli AWACs and other means. Israel itself is about what…20 times smaller than Ukraine? Their IADS umbrella has a much easier time covering the entirety of their territory compared to Ukraine which has to cover a much larger surface area, many more potential targets and infrastructure, all with less AD as well. We forget how heavily defended Israeli airspace is. Their layered IADS is supplemented by their AWACs and F-35s. Its not surprising the vast majority of missiles are intercepted. The differences with Ukraine are vast.Someone correct me here because I'm likely wrong but could this be because Iskander is a shorter range qausi-ballistic system that stays within the atmosphere so it allows for more maneuverability paired with decoys, whereas the Iranian longer ranged missiles are easier to detect and when re-entering the atmosphere the maneuverability is inherently limited compared to a theatre quasi-ballistic?
Everything single humiliation will be solved if they can shoot down even 1 F-35. Think about the pedastal F-35 is in the west. They pretty much worship its tech. If Iran gets in hands the tech, even if its nothing, just the press of F-35 getting shot down is enough to cause huge problems for the west.
Get ready to be miserable then...you'll need lots of Kleenex100 missile an hour for the rest of this month and i might stop being so fucking miserable!
Damage assessments at Natanz nuclear facility are coming in. In a UN Security Council briefing, UN nuclear chief Rafael Grossi has confirmed heavy damage at Natanz nuclear facility. Above ground section was destroyed. Power infrastructure at the facility was destroyed. The loss of power could damage the main underground centrifuge facility even though they were not hit in the airstrikes.
At Natanz, the above-ground part of the Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant, where Iran was producing uranium enriched up to 60% U-235, has been destroyed.
Electricity infrastructure at the facility (electrical sub-station, main electric power supply building, emergency power supply and back-up generators) has been destroyed.
There is no indication of a physical attack on the underground cascade hall containing part of the Pilot Fuel Enrichment Plant and the main Fuel Enrichment Plant. However, the loss of power to the cascade hall may have damaged the centrifuges there.
The level of radioactivity outside the Natanz site has remained unchanged and at normal levels indicating no external radiological impact to the population or the environment from this event.
However, due to the impacts, there is radiological and chemical contamination inside the facilities in Natanz. The type of radiation present inside the facility, primarily alpha particles, is manageable with appropriate radiation protection measures.
At present, the Iranian authorities are informing us of attacks on the other facilities, the Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant; and Esfahan site, where a fuel plate fabrication plant, a fuel manufacturing plant, a uranium conversion facility and an enriched UO2 powder plant are located. However I have to inform that at this moment we do not have enough information beyond indicating that military activity has been taking place around these facilities as well which initially had not been part of military operation.
