What happened to Marcos? Wasn't he extremely anti-China?

Marcos: ... tonight's event has a deeper meaning. This project can memorize 50 years of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and the People's Republic of China. Half a century of freindship and shared history, all reflected here, in this world's oldest Chinatown.

Seattle-area rallies will push back on Trump's June 14 parade

Protestors will demonstrate in parks and squares nationwide on June 14 in what organizers expect will be the largest single-day anti-President Trump rally since the start of the administration.

Why it matters: The widespread movement will run counter to Trump's multimillion dollar military parade in Washington, D.C.

"No Kings is a nationwide day of defiance," organizers wrote. "From city blocks to small towns, from courthouse steps to community parks, we're taking action to reject authoritarianism."

By the numbers: More than 100 pro-democracy advocacy groups are partnering to organize the No Kings events.

Millions of people are expected to protest in more than 1,500 cities across all 50 states and commonwealths, organizers said.

Zoom in: In Seattle, counterprotests are scheduled from noon to 3pm Saturday in Red Square on the University of Washington campus, as well as at Cal Anderson Park on Capitol Hill.

More counterprotests are planned in cities across the Seattle metro area, including in Shoreline, Tacoma, Renton, and Kirkland, as well as in other Washington cities, such as Kennewick, Vancouver and Spokane.

It's nothing new that the usual suspects need to divide China and Russia and they will make up and exaggerate any story to achieve it. The only thing different this time is they're trying to break China away from Russia when it's been the other way around since Trump's first term. Why, because their plan doing a reverse Nixon against China hasn't worked. They thought it was going to happen because Trump and Putin are so cozy with one another until now since it hasn't shown any results. India only has Russia after the West didn't show India the proper respect they thought was due to them.

China’s Chokehold on This Obscure Mineral Threatens the West’s Militaries
China produces the entire world’s supply of samarium, a rare earth metal that the United States and its allies need to rebuild inventories of fighter jets, missiles and other hardware.
(Why do they generalize the west tho?)

What they say tends to be really dumb. But they keep saying it and never learning from it so it really on everyone's nerves after a while. It's hard to ignore esp when they keep attacking you with slander. It's different from someone acting stupid but ultimately not directly harming others.
I am curious, you appear personally offended by Indian slander. Did an Indian guy take your girlfriend? Why do you take Indian attacks so personally?

Coz they keep mudslinging without stopping? This is amplified by the fact there are 700 million of them on the internet in the English speaking space. Everyone has a limit to their patience. There's a reason why their rep has gotten to this point. You can look at this forum and see anti-India sentiment isn't exactly limited to me.

I find it rather unfair we are supposed to put up with this and think like its just nothing. Its not productive to care what they say but its hard to ignore with the scale they are doing it. India considers China an enemy and if twitter is an indication of anything, even a lot of those "western" accounts that are bashing China and its people could be actually run by Indians. While I have stated soft power is overrated, reputation still is something and they are working hard to try to attack it on spaces that China cannot even access to counter them. Sometimes they even try to say they actually speak for us and we can't say anything coz of muh ccp. Considering how they have banned 8000 accounts during Sindoor, it makes it even more offensive coz they want to attack you freely but cry for censorship when its their turn to get hit.

I was looking at videos of Sanda which has grown in popularity because people can see it is working in the UFC. And then there was this comment saying, ackshully this is Indians teaching China how to fight coz the shaolin temple was allegedly found by some Indian so China should know who their father is. While its a minor comment that can be laughed at, imagine everywhere you go these sort of things pop up when you are not even actively looking for stuff with India. They will eventually get to you. I can simply choose not to watch Palki Sharma videos but its much harder to control going somewhere else and they still show up. A lot of times I have noticed, when India has some supposed achievement, the first thing they say is, I bet China is feeling jealous and nervous right now! Like the thing is about India yet they still manage to take a swipe at China and its people. When Huawei makes advancements, most of us would go this a new development for China's semiconductor industry and a proud achievement. Whatever the west thinks is not really that important compared to China's progress.

I know people in the Philippines bash China yet I don't care. There are way less of them and also as much as the country is hostile to China, I would argue they don't seem to show the same level hate by making every waking moment to bashing China and its people in every space of the internet. They have a lot of other things to care about.
