While I have expressed my disgust at many of the people involved in the current US administration, I do believe what we are seeing is likely of historical significance. The level of dysfunction and how it is played out is such a public I think is unprecedented. We have leaders of business and state insulting each other directly and in very personal terms.
I have no clue who the "winner" or "looser" will be, but I still believe that this spat and the overall American political situation is going to be studied for ages to come.
