Anyone knows what's this radar? Seems this new ground radar has more range.

In a recent footage from CCTV, a new type of ground radar is deployed in ETC Air Force, guiding local fighters to locate & intercept enemy aircrafts on the East Sea.

"Once the new radar turns on, it opens a new world for us. Oh, the areas further away turn out to look like this." The ETCAF officer who used it said.

The radar has helped to expel a foreign jet from the East Sea in a previous operation.

People gonna look at it and call it TEMU SkyRanger. Jokes aside i thought 35mm revolver cannon lost out in the tender with 625E. Looks like 35mm managed to make a comeback afterall. Also, are FB-10 an independent missile family or does it have any connection to land based TY-90?

PLA requires the AA guns for medium brigades can fire AP shells to damage armored targets and heavy ammunition. But 35mm is not dual-feeding, can't quickly switch between AHEAD and AP. Price is also one major factors, 625 used by the medium brigade is in conjunction with the HQ-17, but the light brigade can only rely on eight FB-10A mounted unnamed AA vehicles and LD-35L, better missiles and guns are needed.

yes, FB-10A. FB-10 is actually the land-based version of HHQ-10, FB-10A uses a larger rocket motor, radio command+IR guided

So this is in service with the PLAGF? Always wondered if there was a Mengshi-based SAM system in service, given the plethora of Mengshi variants we've seen, but I've never seen an AA one.
Mengshi SAM system with 8 FB-10A missiles, was seen being transported on the highway in recent years. Last year, the official released a photo of soldiers maintaining the guidance radar, confirming that it has been put into service.
