I always found it hilarious they simped for Trump so much. It always confused me. Trump is a real estate businessman who is well versed in BS. You don't try to out BS him in his realm.

Foxconn is already in India, probably wasting their investment. Apple may just make all products in China, while pretending to prepare for production in the US instead.

Rare earth controls are temporarily reduced, meaning in the next 90 days, when an American order is received, an export application must be made, and if approved, the seller can sell to whomever the buyer is.
The ban has become a 90 day "export only on approval" agreement, after which the ban comes back into effect.

The export control has always been "export only on approval", China never said there was any explicit ban.
Previously only a few RE items like Gallium required approval, in April all RE and RE products like magnets started requiring approval.
There has been no change from this policy, if anything the new crackdown on smuggling indicate a lot of recipients are not getting approval and there's no intent on ever giving them approval

Guaranteed Trump found out about the J-35 and maybe even the J-50 and said “Wait, Gyna has 2 engines and even three and we have one? GYNA? GYNA?! That’s bullshit! We are the USA! We need more than them!! Also name it the F-55 because 55 is higher than 50.”

Air Force/Navy has multiple options/designs. Not sure what to do due to budget constraints.

Trump says we going to fund them all.
