There should be huge explosions if Pakistan's attacks were succcessful. Just smoke videos do not seem all that successful

Could be, but also the terrain is hilly, taken from quite a bit far and a few minutes could have passed after the strike.

In any case Pakistan is expected to go in a few notches stronger than last time. We will start seeing stuff coming out of India soon.

Indian army postpones press conference due to attacks: Report​

We have been reporting on ‘Bunyan Marsoos’, a military operation launched by Pakistan’s armed forces over the past hour targeting military sites in India.

Pakistani news outlet Samaa TV, citing security sources, now reports that the Indian Army has postponed a planned press conference due to the strikes and members of the military have sought shelter underground.

The same outlet reports that Pakistan has fired at least three “Fatah 2” missiles at Indian targets.

i think anything short of the total subjugation and pacification of india would be bad for china/pakistan because a wounded india would only drive itself further towards the western sphere of influence.

Using MLRS is a cheap way to strike instead of using proper ballistic missiles. MLRS is essentially long range artillery.
