Don't think there's a flexible material that can take both hypersonic speeds and atomic oxygen without fusing or degrading so I assume this is actively cooled?
Maybe the material isn't flexible but rigid plates overlapping one another. The casing could be arranged similar to jet nozzles. As of materials, there are materials already available in 2010 that are capable of withstanding temperature beyond 1600 C and retains strength of 250MPa without active cooling according to this report published in 2019. The material in this report was intended for rocket conbustion chamber, hypersonic vichle nose cone, nozzles etc.

For reference space shuttle's nose cone and leading edges reach 1260 C during reentry. So this material is more than capable.

Can someone clarify if the CZ-12 (Y2) was delayed (to the 6) or canceled? Thank you!
Has CASC ever announced any date and time of launching? They always say "择机发射" (launch at appropriate opportunity). Because of the way CASC handles their information release, I don't see a reason of paying much attention to "delay or cancel". Following China's space activity is very different from following US.

on the Luojia-3 observation satellite and the eventual Orient Smart Eye constellation, which can provide users (through a smartphone app) with near real-time image and video feeds of specific locations.

Detailed presentation slides on the Oriental Smart Eye constellation of observation satellites.

The first phase of the project consists of a Luojia-3 01 satellite (already launched) and two hyperspectral satellites (to be launchd soon). The performance indicators will surpass those of Sentinel-2 (Europe) and Ladsat-8/9 (USA).

Some specs:
- Mass: ~230kg
- Orbit: 786km SSO (same as Sentinel-2)
- Design life: 5 years
- Revisit frequency: ≤5 days
- Imaging width: 300km
- Spatial resolution: 5m (visible), 20m (short-wave infrared/low-light)
- Spectral resolution: ≤10nm (vis) / 20nm (swif)
- Imaging time: ≥10min (single track)
- Side imaging: maximum support 35º
- Non-controlled positioning accuracy: 10m
- Throughput: 28Gbps
- Data transmission speed: 2×900Mbps

It looks like a new assembly line for the Oriental Smart Eye constellation is under construction near Wuhan.

Galactic Energy will build a production base for its Pallas-2 launch vehicle in the great city of Nanjing. It will have an initial production capacity of 10 Pallas-2 rockets per year.

It looks like yet another production base is under construction in Langfang, Hebei. This base is for the manufacturing and R&D of advanced components for Galactic Energy's reusable liquid rockets.

High-resolution images from the launch of the 3rd batch of satellites of the Guowang internet mega-constellation. It was carried out by a Long March 5B and marks the 573rd flight of the Long March series.

Wait, will they be using long march 5 for launching all guowang satellites? Will that not severely delay the time line for completing the constellation? Since I believe by looking at the past record, they can launch about 6 or 7 such rocket a year at best. How do they intend to meet the deadline of completing such a constellation or they have another plan down the line?
