Kangaroo Trump lost the election to Labour and along the way he also lost his seat in his own riding just as happened to TIMBIT Trump (Pierre Pollievre) in Canada.

i honestly thought the USA will try to steal the election like they normally try to do but here we are. Honestly any option is better then Peter Dutton at this point given he is an open Trump clone would would willingly drag Australia into war and he would do the kind of job cuts that would ruin the nation in the name of his own greed, him losing it all is well deserved at this point.

The only way Zelensky and his government will survive is by provoking a new world war. Trump won’t be able to avoid the Ukraine conflict if Zelensky can goad China into the war. His MAGA image will be shattered and even if he didn’t want to get further involved. Congress will almost certainly have enough support to override any presidential veto over their eagerness to fight a war with China.

This statement is already an veil threat of war against China from Ukraine.

It’s sometimes hilarious just how mind boggling stupid American politicians and the public are.

The people suggesting this idiocy seems to not understand how stock markets works at the most basic level. Or they know how things works and this is about trying to force full decoupling, which is in itself prizing winningly retarded for America to do.

When a company lists on a stock market, you give it your hard earned cash for a part of the company in the form of shares. They already have your money and all you have are glorified IOUs from them.

What happens when the American government forcibly delists Chinese companies? Those IOU shares now cannot be traded and are worthless.

It seems these idiots are somehow conflating what they are suggesting with voluntary delisting when public companies are made private. Because that is a choice, and usually as a result of a takeover by Private Equity or a bigger company, shareholders usually get a nice premium added on top of the share price for their shares to compensate them for the company choosing to go private.

But if the US government passes a law to force a Chinese company to delist, why the fuck does the Chinese company need to pay a penny to the American shareholders?

You can bake in a clause in your law to mandate the Chinese company to pay the shareholders, but if you have pushed things that far, why the fuck would any Chinese company comply with such a law? They can and will say, ‘fuck you very much’ and effectively exist the US market, which is the most the US can hope to achieve with such a law. And unless these Chinese companies are run by a bunch of total certifiable morons, they will see this coming a mile off and extract basically all assets they can from the US before the law comes into force, so there won’t even be a tiny fraction of the value of the shares in physical and financial assets within US jurisdiction for them to seize. And if America tries to seize Chinese companies’ assets in America, that’s opening a whole new can of whoopass for themselves.

As with tariffs, it will be the American people who ends up getting fucked the most by this, since they will have the double whammy of loosing their shares as well as Chinese companies pulling out of the U.S. market so they have less choice, which inevitably leads to further price gouging by American companies. That would be the actual goal of this law, on top of trying to force a total and hard decoupling by the backdoor.

It's even funnier than this, because US investors don't even hold Chinese stocks directly, they hold ADRs which are linked to actual shares listed on Hong Kong, delisting those ADRs just means US investors have to give money directly to China when buying stocks and hold money in Chinese banks when they sell, completely bypassing US financial institutions. Who needs friends when you got enemies like Americans.

We need comrade Gordon to convince the dumbfucks into doing this. Sure I’ll personally lose like 6000 dollars from my Alibaba stocks but I’ll consider it high class entertainment fee.

Coincidentally, an Ukrainian friend brought these comments to my attention as well.

While many of us interpret Zelensky's words as a veiled threat and reasonably so, she's of a different opinion.

She thinks Zelensky is basically saying:
Russia controls Moscow, including its security. If something happens in Moscow on Victory Day, it's because the Russians made it happen.

TBF Russians and Ukrainians are cut from the same cloth, and equally capable of "false flag operations."

Regardless, even if her interpretation is accurate and Zelensky has in fact been speaking in good faith, he is nevertheless doing a horrible job communicating to the world at large.

Seem thats the narrative now to counter CN again?

Natalie Winters obviously has no idea what she's talking about, and worse yet: she is emblematic of the MAGA base's utter inability to grasp economics in general and industrial development in particular.

Worse yet, Miss Winters' weight appears to be "a bit of a rollercoaster," which is usually indicative of an eating disorder and/or other mental health issues.

What Natalie Winters wants to look like and market to her audience.
What Natalie Winters really looks like most of the time.

Regardless, given her knack for fattening* up, Natalie Winters won't even cut it as a sex slave . . . I mean model in Dubai.

* While I generally discourage the objectification of women, happy to make an exception for public figures who monetize or otherwise benefit "professionally" from their "sex appeal."

The real question is why does she have a pron name? Did she pick it herself or did her parents really name it for her?

The main problem with that interpretation is why would the Russians need to do that in the first place. They are already winning. Short of NATO declaring war on Russia. Ukraine cannot win. It was always impossible and as shown the Russians is moving ahead steadily. No manpower or logistical shortages. Meanwhile, everyone knows Ukraine has shortages of literally everything.
