So ,I as an HR Manager for the New American Factories I will see many fired Federal people with qualifications like: nuclear engineer,PHD's in virology,microbiology,chemical,civil ,mechanical,ceramic engineers,metallurgists,doctors of all types,biologists etc types,designers,mathematicians,physicists etc just waiting to fill my vacancies in my factories making shoes,press machines,garment shops,???I won't know who to choose

Because it allows them to again indulge in their racism, allowing them to dismiss China's economy as just based on brute force unskilled sweatshop slave labor rather than admit China can innovate and is advancing to match or overtake in technology. It allows them to therefore avoid self-reflection and just chalk it up to the other side "cheating" by using numbers, and indirectly it allows dehumanization of the Other as faceless hordes, like insects.

Interestingly, they are now trying to compete with China by transitioning their economy to brute force unskilled sweatshop labor
