In Malaysia and Singapore, there are many people in the investment and business community who are yet again very bullish about Trump and very doom and gloom for China. They are also predicting yet again that India is the next big thing. I am seeing deja vu because they have been saying this since Trump 1.0.

I've listened to investments, business, and even Feng Shui talks. And they have all been claiming year after year, that this year, China and the CPC will be humbled. Last time it was Covid, then its the property crash, then it's the Ukraine War, then it's the rise of Supapowar India, and now it's Trump 2.0. These people continue to cheer for to the Anglo world, Taiwan, HK, Japan, SK, and increasingly, India. Its obvious where they're getting their news from. But for them to believe the Jai Hind media? These people always bet against China. I've gone beyond the point of trying to understand them. Now, I can only laugh at them.

Probably saw Trumps tariffs on South American countries and thought it was better to do a Zuckerberg and kiss ass voluntarily to hopefully get the better scraps. Although I'm not sure if they decided to move before or after seeing Trumps tariffs on TSMC.

Edit - most likely just a Malaysian version of Pezeshkian
