Indians are well educated (regardless of religion) atleast who are trying to integrate in West and Gulf Countries. India still have that demographic dividend to capture most of global wealth and it is reflected in Gold Purchase and real estate transactions around the world.
regarding Germany they already have muslims as much they can absorb.
Indians are protesting against the planned closure of the over 150-year old Kolkata tram system. Its the last remaining one in India, and its apparently the "oldest tram system in Asia".
What do you think? Should they keep it, or let go of it?

Why not just modernize the lines and then send the cars to museums, make tourist attractions from them, turn them into roadside food stalls etc etc.
Satisfies everyone while not keeping literal rolling relics from the age of horse on your streets in 2024.
Exactly. It's not like modern, air-conditioned trams were only just invented yesterday. And isn't India richer than the UK, France, or Italy? Why won't they have the budget to upgrade it to modern standards?
As for the nostalgia and historical heritage concerns. The authorities are planning to preserve one line to serve as a heritage line. So its not like it's gonna be gone for good. Obviously, this still didn't satisfy a number of Indians.
Indians have a strange selection for nostalgia. One the one hand, they retain nostalgia for the British-built buildings and infrastructure. But on the other hand, they were enthusiastic to tear down the centuries-old Babri Masjid, and replace it with the Ram Mandir Hindu temple.
This Nordstream regardless of the version was Russian vanity project to divide Europe and turn US against Germany. nowhere Russian refused gas through Ukraine and Belarus (Yamal Europe) and there was South Stream aka Turkish stream and than add LNG. This kind of planning only Wealthy Gulf Arabs do as they can burn wealth together in business to hurt others. This much wealth can only be created and maintained through superior intelligence like finding the secret beliefs.
Putin is not just German speaking but knows German thought process and all the German sidekicks in the world. I am sure Putin knows that with decline of Europe Gulf Arabs will turn screws on Global south or those who in need of funds.

Funny part is Skydio shut down their consumer facing division last year, they already gave up trying to compete with DJI on commercial market and their focus since has been entirely on BlueUAS i.e. "Made in USA" drone market, that and lobbying for DJI ban.
So all their struggle with being cut off by China isn't even with commercial competition, it's with providing US government with inferior Mavic clones that cost $20k because they were suppose to be "Made in USA"
This is probably happening in all the other "Made in USA" US defence contractors China sanctioned, they're just more discrete with their crying.
