According to a financial report from China Satcom Corporation, the company signed a contract to use Long March 3B to launch a series of communications satellites. Based on the amount paid and the payloads launched thus far, the price of LM-3B per launch can be extrapolated as ¥260 million, or $36 million. The figure tallies precisely with an earlier financial report (2nd image) on ZX-18 satellite launch, which also used LM-3B.

The fairing separation test for the Long March 8 improved variant has been successfully completed. The enlarged fairing has a length of 13 meters and a diameter of 5.2 meters.

A second fairing separation test has been successfully conducted for the Long March 8 improved variant. Through these two tests, the fairing design and separation scheme have been fully verified.

ORIENSPACE will increase the thrust of YuanLi-85 kerolox engine to 110 tons in future. 9 engines in the 1st stage of Gravity-2 make it capable of launching 21.5 tons payloads to LEO in expendable mode and 17.4 tons reuse mode. Does anybody have any idea of how many LEO SAR or optical satellites it will take to have 24/7 coverage of every square kilometer of the globe? It is economical or feasible to have such widespread coverage?
