The media is casting a political smokescreen so that it doesn't look like Biden people lost their trade war in an election year.
The closest that I can think of is 螳螂当车, mantis blocking the wagon.
I think China should return to exporting ideology and supporting communist insurgencies. It is the premier example of the underdog rags-to-riches story. The system works and other downtrodden countries can also become prosperous.
Nah!!! and make the Red China peril real? just stay the course and work hard, once the Chinese achieved its Comprehensive National Power everything will fall in line as people gravitate toward it and that includes the American like their CEO had done paying tribute to Emperor XI.
As the saying goes "Success breed contempt" and China is matured enough to know this and not provoke.

For sure. An anti-everything Chinese rabble rouser who had become a pseudo-Messiah for the Malay Muslim majority in Malaysia? Definitely a target for corruption by the CIA. He is a potential threat that PM Anwar needs to deal with eventually.
He would be an anti-Israeli for sure, and by extension and anti-American. But I know how people like him operate. Corrupting him is a piece of cake. The CIA don't even need to make stuff up to blackmail him. Just spy on him, and I'm confident that you'll find scandals that even Muslims can't tolerate. Offer him enough cash, and he'll willingly become your own anti-China politician.
Sometimes I do wish that Malaysian Chinese could be as nasty as the Jews in the West. But the Chinese people just don't do things like that. For better or worse. On the negative side, it is easy to bully and abuse the overseas Chinese community. But on the positive side, the Chinese communities are far better tolerated around the world than the Jews.
Fun fact. Just about two days ago, Dr Akmal was so high on his crusade for Islam, that he said he wanted to punish China for allowing a Chinese company to produce that sock with the word "Allah" on it. Another MP challenged him to summon the Chinese ambassador. But he chickened out of that. He is just a local bully afterall. He can only bully the ethnic Chinese minority in Malaysia. But who is he to face China? China is far beyond what a pseudo-Messiah bully like him can pick on. Do that, and PM Anwar and even the Malaysian king will come after him for derailing Malaysia's desperate economic plans.

Pretty sure most of the world, not just Malaysians, have finally internalized the idea that the US is not to be trusted in anyway and are trying to slowly free themselves of America's grip. They cannot do it outright over night lest they end up like Libya or Iraq; it has to be done gradually and discretely. The illegal seizure of Russian assets imo was a big cause of this realization, followed by the American support for Israel's genocide, essentially telling the world "we dgaf about the rules if they're against our interests".

Allah and God are not interchangeable.
God is a noun, written in Arabic as إله.
Allah is a proper noun, i.e. the name of (the Islamic) god, written as الله.
In Christianity, you'd say the name of god is Jesus/Son or the Father. In Satanism, you'd say the name of god is Lucifer.
Arab non-Muslims like Christians, for reasons unknown to me, use the word Allah to refer to their god.
