Well, we knew this was coming.

LUL. Quoting Jordan Schneider at the end.
LOL this Asianometry guy can't resist to quote Jordan Scheinder in the end. I like his more technical explanation of the Semiconductor industry, but he still has his bias against China.

About 1 year ago, in one of his videos about the US export ban on Chinese semiconductors. He confidently claimed that China's semiconductor manufacturing technology is at least 20 years behind the latest ones, and that it'll never again be able to catchup after the US ban, even with all the Chinese government's investments. Fast forward to today, he had conveniently not mentioned his old predictions, and had to begrudgingly acknowledge China's achievements.

In this video, he quotes Jordan Schneider that it is still not too late for the US stop China's semiconductor progress. If only the US puts even tighter restrictions on the Chinese semiconductor industry supply chain. I would say, that both of them are wrong again. It is already too late for the US to stop the Chinese from catching up.

Based Uyghurs. Tired of these foreigner's shits.

It really isn’t so much based as a natural response. Put yourself in their shoes. What would you do if a complete stranger armed to the teeth with cameras and surveillance gears is snooping around your neighbor’s house? You either call the cops or take matters into your own hand and shove a pitch fork up where the sun doesn’t shine.

While that's true to a degree, Uyghurs are more anti-western than the typical Chinese person. I remember someone posting a video of an American female tourist visiting a town and all the Uyghurs telling her how evil Americans are.

Asianometry is one of the more knowledgeable youtubers on semiconductors and they do often make high quality content. That said, they absolutely have a blind spot when it comes to China's semiconductor industry.

In that video, he said that Huawei stole Qualcomm's 5G chip without evidence lol

Now, this is how to build the right incentive for a country with large population and growing middle class to make. Offer the right incentives, provide access to abundant natural resources critical to that specific infrastructure and then entice the company to train, develop its local people to develop technical expertise. Unlike the usual running mouth country who loves to make boastful pronouncements without first establishing the necessary ingredients required to make their endeavors worthwhile.

Chinese cell phone companies went into India, with the hopes of doing business, and building on that relationship, perhaps manufacturing plants could follow.

The Indians wickedly had other ideas.
