so as a naval newbie, i gotta ask... from all the phase array radars I've seen, none of them has a array feed like the Type 052C/D or is that not what the pole is under the radar is...

My understanding is that the chance of a missile hitting almost head on is smaller compared to other angles; and you can always go full rudder to get a better firing angle for the CWIS.

FYI, Flickr is an online image hosting site, with UNLIMITED bandwidth. Linking from Flickr is prohibited, unless the photos are under public license, and mine most definitely are.

As for posting photos that are not 'new', I have stated that I would not do so in the future.

I think both our positions are now crystal clear. Cool?
